Manual Driving Lessons
My name is Laura, I am based in Horsham and I teach locally and in the Crawley area. I look forward to teaching you the skills to make you a safe driver and pass your driving test.
A little about me
During my career, I have worked in retail and within Human Resources. I am a mother of two children and understand the need to have a car and more importantly to have passed the driving test, especially with all the running around that having children comes with. But it's not about simply passing the driving test. I will teach you to drive safely on today's busy roads.
I decided to become a driving instructor as I like meeting people and as a driving instructor, I meet people from many cultures and backgrounds.
Developing new drivers to not only pass their driving tests but to be safe drivers on our busy road network is highly satisfying and important to me. I aim to present my lessons in a fun and effective style because I know that if your lessons are fun, you will learn quickly and to a deeper level. The benefit of this approach is that you will be a considerably safer driver.
Should you need it, I will also help you with your theory test, when we commence your driving lessons.
Having lived locally for a long time, you can rest assured that I am familiar with the local roads that can be challenging for new drivers and I will help you to understand and safely negotiate and drive on those roads.
I teach in the Horsham, Crawley, Broadbridge Heath, Christs Hospital, and Warnham area along with the surrounding villages. I do have a limited amount of availability at weekends as I know when you are working full time or in full-time education it is not always possible to get time off in the week.
Possibly you hold a full driving licence and have just bought a new car and would like 'Refresher Driving Lessons' to build your confidence.
You may also have had a time away from driving, or not driven in the UK for a while. I can carry out your refresher driving lessons in my dual-controlled car first, then in your own car if you would prefer.
