Driving Instructor Training at Surrey Fire and Rescue
Prime Driving School was invited to showcase our school at the head office of Surrey Fire and Rescue’s open day in Reigate.
For everyone to see, and for the youngsters, and some dads to climb all over and get involved, were Fire engines from all eras from horse drawn fire appliances to the latest fire-fighting appliance based at Gatwick airport.
Lynne Von Wildenrath is the in house trainer for the Surrey Fire and Rescue. It is not well known but the trainer for the fire and rescue service needs to have the full ADI driving instructor qualification to work with the new recruits who will be driving the appliances and this is where Lynne comes in. Lynne teaches those fireman to achieve the full ADI qualification to enable them to teach those very recruits to drive the appliances.
Lynne is our proprietor and head trainer. Lynne works with West Sussex Fire and Rescue as well. Having successfully getting all of her fireman to pass the full ADI test from both Surrey and West Sussex Fire and Rescue we were promoting Prime Driving School to the public and recruiting new ‘Trainee Driving Instructors’ along with fully qualified ADI’s.
There were trainers from many different disciplines from underwater rescue to simulated driving training. We had a very successful and fun day, with many new potential trainees talking to us.
We need instructors for all areas over the South of England and offer full training and offer you the opportunity to teach on a trainee licence as well. Franchise areas are available for ADI’s as well.
