ADI Manager Chooses to Present to Prime Driving School
Prime Driving School were honoured to have the DVSA (Driving Vehicle Standard Agency) ADI manager, George....... along with Catherine...... , who is an ADI examiner covering Southern England, take time out to travel and come to our Chichester head office and training centre to conduct a presentation relating to the changes that are coming into force for driving instructors.
The presentation by George related to how and why driving instructors are tested and checked "Standards Check test" to ensure that their teaching skills are up to standard as set out by the DVSA, on an ongoing basis.
All of Prime Driving School's driving instructors attended this superb presentation, travelling from all corners of Southern England.
The evening meeting was fun informative and packed full of useful information for our ADI's and our PDI's.
Catherine gave a supportive talk on what the examiners are looking for on an ADI Part 3 qualifying test. On test nearly everyone is nervous and all of our instructors felt Catherine's talk was really helpful and they would now feel more confident, relaxed and in control on their Part 3 ADI qualifying test.
AT least every four years all driving instructors are re-examined to ensure that their teaching skills are up to date. The DVSA works with driving instructors to help them improve if they are falling short in any areas of their tuition. Not to criticise but to help driving instructors is the aim of a 'standard check test'.
When you are a driving instructor with Prime Driving School, 'check test training' is ongoing by our ORDIT trainers all free and inclusive, simply by being part of Prime Driving School's team of driving instructors. We regularly obtain our instructors pupil driving test analysis reports to ensure our driving instructor team remain the best instructors they can be.
Lynne your guidance and training on the road and also in the class room sessions made me understand how we have to teach our pupils and make them safe drivers for their whole life. - Enayet, Prime Automatic Driving Instructor in Guildford
Following the meeting Prime Driving School has received high praise for the extremely high standard of tuition given by Prime Driving School's instructors.
" ..... You have a great team of instructors, It's nice to see people who are conscientious about their role in the industry, this can only come from the top...."
Why have these meetings?
As the screen say, we are all working together to improve road safety.
We at Prime Driving School are passionate about teaching our instructors who then go on to teach their pupils to the highest standard possible and we all thank George and Catherine for their superb presentation.
