Driving Instructor Training Passes

Flavio

I passed my Part 3 qualifying test on my third attempt, but it was my first attempt with Prime Driving School.

When I started my training I unfortunately did not find an ORDIT registered trainer, with the result that when I got to my test, I was in no way prepared for my Part 3 qualifying assessment. I had no idea what client centred learning was, along with many other very important details required to be a competent driving instructor. After failing my second attempt at Part 3, my examiner advised me to find an ORDIT registered trainer, as I had the ability and passion for the job, but needed the correct training.

This is when I searched the government website and found Lynne Von Wildenrath was based only short distance from me. From the first phone conversation with her, I could instantly tell, this lady knew her stuff and I had to have her as my trainer.

Under Lynne's guidance and assisted by the amazing Steve Wiggins, I started my train again and from scratch. After applying for a second trainee licence, I passed my final Part 3 qualifying exam some six months later after Lynne and Steve took me under their wing and trained me to be the driving instructor I am today.

The weekly free Saturday classroom sessions, at the Chichester training centre, were invaluable for cementing in the training. I had a full diary of pupils from day one. The support from the other driving instructors is a real confidence builder. Something that I had never expected.

If anyone seriously wants to become an ADI, and I am proud to say that today I am, then look no further than the team at Prime Driving School. You will not be disappointed.

Thank you Lynne and Steve
